How do I go about dismantling the seat assembly in the rear? Do I need to take out the panels in the back seat as well? I tried to take out the back seats but it seems as if it's stuck!

 

Try looking at the seats from the rear of the car. You'll see where they are bolted down. At least the butt part of the seat. The seat back you'll see the c-clips(?) I donno what they are called. But if your brain is functioning you'll be able to figure it out. Good luck

 

Should the seat require a lot of pulling and yanking? Cuz I tried yanking it out of the C clip and it still wouldn't budge.

 

Bottom cushion: remove single bolt at rear side of cushion near center, pull the rear edge of the cushion up and towards the front (rotating so to speak) the clips will be released and the cushion can be removed.

Backrests: find the backrest pivots, remove the small black plastic clips, move on backrest to the side and angle it out of position. Take a look at it you will understand how it works.
