Would a pair of them be able to handle a 1000 watts mono?
W6'z are 6ohm subs ... you need to run 3 of them in order to run a 2ohm load on your amp ..
Example: if you wire up (2) 6ohm subs .... that puts a 3ohm load on the amp ...
so if your amp is 500watt RMS @4ohm and 1000watt RMS at 2 ohm
the (2) subs will get about 750watts RMS
that is of course unless you have one of the NEW JL audio amps .. which has some funk ohm controls
if you have two JL W6's you have to wire them at either a 1 ohm load or a 6 ohm
load. run 3 of them..i believe either wiring them in series or parallel you can
get a 2 or 4ohm load.
