Engine swap & gauges question
Hey everyone,
I am wondering, after an engine swap.. what would become of my gauges ? The ones in front of me, such as the speedometer, and tachometer.
Would they automatically 'tune-up' to the new engine's performance ? Or they will be completely out of order ?
I'm in a F22B2 97 Accord, is it the same on any swap on any car ?
Thanks in advance

yeah just don't expect it to be too accurate, my V-AFC reads 7,300-7,400 when the tach is around 7,900-8,000 rpm. Some people have better luck though than me.
What's the V-AFC ? A separate gauge system you add around your dashboard ?
How much are those ? There 'is' a significant difference between 7300 and 7900..
Your own gauge should be more accurate right ?

Most oem guages are off about 300 rpm in that rpm range, even ludes that's why they shift at 8K cause in reality they are 7,600-7,700 range which is fuel cut.
