Catalytic converter length
Assuming that there is no cat-back exhaust on a '94 teg. GSR, will a a cat. from a LS/RS/GS of the same year bolt up to the A-pipe of the GSR? Will the O2 be in the correct spot? I know that the cats, A-pipes, and exausts are different lengths between the GSR's and non's, but will it work if necessary to pass emissions assuming I am using an exhaust from a Type-R? (Right now I have test-pipe in place of the GSR cat in order to mate the A-pipe and exhaust.) Any advice would help.
My bust ... i just checked acuraautomotiveparts.net and they had the same exact part number for the LS and GSR cat ... sorry they have wrong data |:
Hey, thank you very much!
I was about to drop $220 for a Random Technology Hi-Flow Catalytic Converter for a LS, but I checked my post first. Now I'm having one custom made. Thank you all for saving me the money and troble!
