For those of you with stock Cx motors do you have 2 relays that sit on the drivers side engine bay next to the windshield wiper fluid as seen in the pic? One relay goes to the a/c compressor. I think the car was in a wreck and this is how the repair shop put the a/c back in place.

 

I may be misinformed, but I thought those relays were for the headlights. What is wrong with their position?

 

For the most part, all Hondas have two relays there. One is for the Compressor, and one is for the Conderser fan. Both are AC related relays.

 

i had two but they werent mounted there..one is mounted on the wall where you would fill up the windshield washer fluid and the other was mounted on the radiator for the a/c i forget what you call it

One is for the A/C compressor, one is for the fan on the A/C condensor. Simple as that. Mine were actually hanging down by the fan... (stupid dealership installed optional A/C) took me a while to figure out what the grinding noise was that i heard sometimes under heaving braking with the A/C on...

 

No those are over by the battery on the other side of the car. Glad to hear I won't need those 2 relays when the GSR goes in.
