Help: Need to buy wheels locks ASAP
Hi all,
Someone tried to steal my wheels very recently so I've decided to finally get wheel locks for my new wheels in a futile attempt to stall further theft attempts. 2 quick questions though:
1) Will the traditional cone style wheel locks fit on my volk wheels? I searched and heard McGuard was an affordable choice; just trying to figure out what kind of locks would fit (my lugs are exposed).
2) Where could I get these asap? I was planning to stop by Kragen/Pep Boys but if they don't carry the type of wheel locks I need I'll just have to order online then.
Thanks again, and my apologies if this specific question was already answered...but the theft attempt was VERY recent and I'm feeling a bit of urgency

go to a place like Discount Tire. that's where i got mine. Gorilla is a good company for wheel locks too. and the guys at Discount Tire will be able to tell you if you need the acorn style or ball style nuts.
hope that helps.

Tell them u need tuner wheel locks. U might also want to get more than 1 wheel lock per wheel, and use different brands. Discount tires offer gorilla locks, but anyone can just buy the key, so u might want to get a brand like mcgards (sp?).

Mix and match the wheel locks for added security. A louisville slugger at the bedside will also work
Also look into a newly released alarm addon that senses the slope of the car, if moved it goes off, aka, when someone is jacking up your car to get your rims off.

I had mcgards spline drives in mind; where could I get these (aside from ordering them online)
