Keep your fingers crossed for mid-February. I'll try and keep you guys updated but I'm temporarily out of an internet connection.

I've been sold out of the 4gen shifters for a while but put in another order for more today so they should be back in stock the first part of February. If you would like to be put on the waiting list for one, email me at 4bidden@***.net

Thanks guys!

This is not an adaptor. It's the full kit.

Price will be $105-$125 as long as no hidden costs show up.

I thought they only made short shifter adapter for prelude and accords. If they make the whole kit what is it? Explain please.

Late March is what I am hoping. For help with prototyping, I will most likely be supplying a couple 5gen'rs with the prototype to test out and give some feedback. I'll keep you guys posted.

4bidden is producing an actual shiftter that is designed to be shorter, this replaces the stock shifter..there is no adapter. hope that clears it up.

Keep an eye on the msgboard here, I'll keep you guys updated of the progress. And like I said, I might need a few truthworthy 5gen people to try out a prototype so when the time comes, you better be around!

"Test subjects" will most likely be the members that I see on here or PreludeOnline most often who contribute and would be able to give some good feedback on the product.

now how will this be that much better than just an adapter?
I am willing to test stuff even if i need to pay full price or anything if needed.
I have been looking to get a short shifter. Thanks

To answer your question I'll copy/paste something that I just posted over on HS about the same thing....

"As for the question at hand, the answer is in angles. The angle of the bracket attached to the lever is what basically decides how smooth the shifter is going to be. For this reason, adaptors which base their shift motion off of the stock bracket angles, are not as smooth."

The angle is what provides leverage and the stock shifter and the bracket on the stock shifter has an angle sufficient for the cable angle which it puts the cable at, not for how high adaptors put it.

It is kind of confusing to explain
