is anyone running a 225/50-15 or 225/45-16 on a DC2???
i think 215 would be the widest STREETABLE width you'd be happy with. Otherwise your teg would be ridin down the road lookin like a hoopty on crack. j/k, but i know the tires would be coming out of the fenders creating a lot of rubbing problems and so forth.
-Erik <--- who's wondering if the autox cars running the 225-ish width tires have the fenders trimmed or what exactly has been done. wide body is my guess

my 215/45/17's suck ***. They're too wide and tall and they rub all over the inside of the fender. I'm going with 205/45/16's for my next tire.
mine is 205 45 16...they are perfect...i have a kosei k1 racing for the winter and for my summer i have RacingHarts C5's with 225 35 18...and they dont rub at all...but the 205 45 16 seems to handle way better than my 18's.

I ran 225/45/16 on my Integra for couple months last year. I only had that size up front though, the rear was on 205/50/16 at the time. There was some rubbing in the front and the rear (even with the 205/50/16 becasue the O.D. was bigger). The only thing I did was remove the black rubber strips on the back, and there was no more rubbing on the back. On the front, I removed the plastic clips and put the liner behind the metal tabs, more of the rubbing was gone, but there was still some under full lock on the steering wheel. My wheels are 16x7 +42mm offset. I think if I were to put 225/45/16 on the back, I would have to roll the fenders. Anyways, I didn't like it too much, so I switched to 215/45/16 and no problem there. Here are a pic of my car with the 225/45/16 front 205/50/16 rear tires on and a pic of 225/45/16 tires on my rim.

And here are couple pics of my current tire size.
