I have a 2000 Accord LX-V6 Coupe. The front bumper has some damage. I'm thinking of trying to find someone who is putting on a body kit and try and buy their bumper already painted and ready to bolt on. Does anyone know which ones will fit? Does it have to be off of a coupe? What years? Thanks.

No, it's definitely repairable. It's really not that bad. I just thought I might be able to save some money if I could find someone unloading theirs in the right color (red) for cheap. Plus it would be painted by the factory most likely rather than taking a chance on some bodyshop. What are they made out of anyway? Is it an easy material to work with?

 

go ahead and go repair it...
it gonna take more moola just to put on 98-00 bumper anyway.
since the 98-00 bumper won't line up and fit perfect.
those factory bumper are make of some sort of plastic/rubber with flex paint.
