They slip over the glass housing of the bulb itself in an effort to change the color. It's a pretty cheap way of doing a lame thing

 

When I switched my climate controls over to amber, I went to the dealer and bought the bulbs for the 99-00 SI climate controls. The bulbs were worthless for my car, but they had the orange rubbers that I slipped over my stock bulbs. I am happy with the results. The crappy part is that I had to spend $5.50 on some bulbs I will never use.

 

how big are the bulbs for the 99si climate control?? the bulbs from my cluster are small little ******* not much bigger than a LED... i just painted the bulbs today.. but the brightness leave much to be desired.. so its just temporary until i can get some bulb condoms..

 

They are sold next to the rice cookers.

 

I think they're sold in the GHETTO riced Autozones.

 

if you are trying to do the amber look-a-like, you can buy the amber condoms from honda itself, cheap.
