Default s100 vs. s200

So, whats a good argument for going with the s200 over the s100? theres the launch control, full throttle shift and a couple of other things..are there any tuning advantages of having the s200 over the s100? or just little handy nice things to use for driving? theres what..about a 50 dollar difference between the 2..is it worth it? appreciate any help ya'll have to offer...thanks!

the only major difference between s200 and s100 is easier to program, and requires no O2 sensors to be plugged in to any part of the exhaust.

Its worth it IMO. The S100 limits your upgradeability...if you ever want to datalog or start tuning yourself, you'll have to upgrade to the S200 first. S200 is fully upgradeable, meaning no limitations if you ever want to add on more features or get ballsy and start tuning yourself.

The only good thing about the S100 is it fits in the ECU...$50 for the limitations isnt worth it.

if you don't plan to do anything more than basic, s100 is convinient - it has all the tuning features that s200 does - it tunes the same as s200 does..

you can not datalog with s100 - if thats not important - then s100 will do the job plus you don't have an additional box in a way..

BACK FROM THE DEAD...
Since KS is having their GB.. I am intrested in one myself. I am leaning toward the s100, but s200 seems to have more flexability and datalogging. What MAJOR purpose does this give over a s100?? Anyone?? And is there a program that will help fuel effiency? GAS PRICES ARE OUT OF CONTROL RIGHT NOW. ( 2.43 2.33 2.22)

This is completely WRONG! The S100 and S200 have NO difference in terms of tuning a usability. The difference is: The S100 cannot be upgraded to datalog, tune itself, use the g-sensor meter or the 3 step rev limiter.

The benefit is the S100 fits inside the ECU and unless you tell someone, there is no way they will know there is a Hondata unless you open up your ECU and show them (good for you SCCA cheaters )

Check out the Hondata 101 I wrote a while ago: http://www.ks-motorsports.com/shop/?...hop/hondata101 (site is not functional yet, so please do not buy anything online, it is not secure yet either.)

Let me know if you have any questions.
