I ragged the living **** out of my R (not good). I just didnt give a ****. I got off of work about 12 AM and drove over to my friend's house. She has a nice curvy road and I thought i was freakin' autocrossing. I was doing 100+ mph down a 35 mph road and didnt drop below 7,500 rpms. I get to her house (about 2 miles down this road) and smoke or steam (i couldnt tell) is coming out underneath the hoodf. I say f*ck it and pop the hood, walk off and go talk to my friend and her boyfriend. I come back and it has stopped; but inside the car i can smell rice burning (ragged out valvetrain). Oh well, I rag her out to the gas station and get some gas. I filled it up and ragged her out back to the house. I can still smell the rice burning. I hope my car is ok. it isnt idling weird or running abnormally. The oil is fine and I think its the first time the car has ever been run that hard (even at the drag strip, its only 14.8 seconds there, it was like 5 minutes here) it hasnt smoked anymore. Just thought id share and did your car smoke when you auto-xed?
