Default Height on the seatbelt strap (Chest) And question about belt tension and retraction

I was looking at my dads crv and noticed they have height adjustable straps (part that is on the driver and passenger side door pillars in between the front and rear seats)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Has anyone ever relocated it to a higer/lower postion?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And I was wondering if there is some type of spring coil type mechanism within the door sills to access and possibly adjust the tension when retracting the belts.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any experience regarding this will be gladly appreciated.
Thank you.

Most (all?) modern 4 door cars have the seatbelt height adjustment on the B-pillar. Coupes don't have them because the seatbelt comes from so far behind the person.

If your seatbelts aren't retracting, get them warrantied by Acura. It's a lifetime warranty part. The units are sealed, so don't mess with them.
