Whats the point? I can see the point if we drove on the left hand side of the road.

I think it will be a big inconvience. All drive thrus you'll have to get out. ie, bank, food.

Just my opinion.

when you say you have access to the parts... do you mean free? otherwise its pointless.

im not some kid who just wants to be different. i have a built motor and have been working on cars for 5years so ive been in the game long enough. i know when wasting money is just wasting money but anything in the import world is wasting money, we're not getting paid to do this stuff. i just want something to do that is on my own car. i havent worked on it for a year. the parts are not free but i do have access for the fraction of the price. i see i have no support from my fellow h-t for just having a love for my own car. thanx guys

thats not having a love for your own car... its just plain silly. modding your car is never "good" for it... even though aftermarket parts are more functional, anyone in the import scene for a significant amount of time can tell you that significant mods oftentimes cause more problems down the line. so converting a car to RHD just because its "day-DEE-eM y0" doesnt seem functional or aesthetically pleasing (this is up to personal opinion i suppose), and you will run into some problems or other - whether they be mechanical or fitment - wise. it just happens. is it worthwhile?

even after converting to RHD, its still not "jdm" if that's what you're going for. and it'll be more confusing to drive. if i spent 3 years learning how to drive well when shifting with my right hand, i'd expect to be pretty bad at driving on the right side for a good while.

so i see no functional or aesthetic reason to do the conversion. to me it seems like a big waste of money.

ok, then if it makes you happy, i say go for it.

i could think of 50 things i'd rather do with my money besides convert my car to RHD. (oh i forgot to mention, cops will prolly harass you, if you're into that sort of thing). one of them would be a new couch. just cuz i wouldnt do it, and just because it doesnt make sense to me, doesnt make me - or anyone else here - a hater.

dude, if z3 fenders make you happy, go wild. if RHD makes you happy, i say do it.

Haters?

If you call us haters, when we are being a voice of reason to you.... don't ask!!!

What's your point? What good comes out of RHD that you can't get with LHD? I don't see any point or any benefit whatsoever. The cost, the potential problems, the COST, and for what?

Spend your money how you will, since you ask for opinions and then complain when you don't like what you hear.

I don't think it's a good investment to do RHD either...

But to this guys defense, he didn't ask what you thought about RHD conversions at all, he asked for tips on hwo to do it. Not sure if you read the original post, but if you did, you obviously need reading comprehension classes... I don't see the word "opinion" in the first post at all... maybe I'm blind?

Here's the original post so you can read it again:

Do you have intentions of working for the U.S. Postal Service? If so, go for it.

sounds like alot of money but if thats what you really want to do go for it. You dont want to do a front end conversion? I think if you have access to that for cheap that would be really cool looking.

im sayin that my main purpose of building my car is not to be jdm but to be what i want it to be and thats it. so what i use jun products that doesnt make my a JDM wanna be. so wut i have a 4dr running mid 13's allmotor.
i do have something better to do with my money...its just that im getting the hookup on all the parts and i want to do it thats it.

nevermind i dont need your advice.....im still goin through with it. thanx h-t members

if this guy wants to convert his car to right hand drive go right ahead, i dont see whats the big issue here. He asked for tips to help him out before he perform his conversion, not wheather you like it or not, or wheather its convient for him or not. Im sure he knows some of the consequences, but oh well, if he has the $$MONEY$$ and wants to do it. then feel free too. Everyone has there own likes and dislikes. If he has the time and money to invest into a RHD, hey why not. I know i would, not because its JDM YO.

and one other thing, you buy JDM products, people say "day-DEE-eM y0" doesnt seem functional or aesthetically pleasing, but if i go with some big bodykits and 18' chromes or white wheels, people in here H-T is gonna say your RICE BOY, so WTF is the point to fixing up cars. mine as well leave it stock. why fix your car? Is it STOCK, but appearently your investing money to buy your products too right? so what do you buy, APC crap or Amber lights from JAPAN? if day-DEE-eM y0, is not functional nor altezza lights are not too, then what is the whole purpose of HONDA TECH. if that is the case, leave your car bone stock and dont do anything too it, so you won't run into problems. not only that, it wont be a RICE car or DAY D EM YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

man you guys are ********.

Whats the point in modifing a little 1.8 liter 4 banger when I could do the same to a v8 or other such car and be alot faster.

because its my choice. Get off your high horses and get over it.

I'd give you pointers if I had any. Good luck with it.

Get a RHD shell and swap your motor and interior over.

wouldnt rhd conversion give a slightly better left to right weight ratio since the engine is more to the left side of the car?

I don't see a point to converting to RHD. It's just a waste of time and money. OOPS, he didn't want opinions.
