DC5/RSX Seats
i have seen people put a lot of different seats from differents cars in other honda/acura cars.
my question is what modifications, if any are required to put the black leather seats from an Acura RSX-S into my 1990 honda civic Si.
my seats are pretty tired, and id rather get these seats, then get after market ones. my cost is 10% above dealer cost. so you can see why.
thanks in advance
shane.

Somebody recently swapped S2000 seats into an EG or EK without drilling any holes or destroying any components from either object. They made this happen by swapping both, entire base-plates of the stock seats onto the S2000 seats. They said it felt kind of rediculous tearing the bottom out of a brand new seat, but the fitment is perfect and it looks super profesional.
I'm almost 100% sure that you can do the same with the RSX-S seats (which rock by the way). You'll want to get the side-curtain airbags and electric controls off of there (save weight and space) unless you've got some trick harness wired up and ready to go that will leave those functions intact.
I'll try and find the dude's post

I love the rsx seats. Really comfy, I dont know how hard they would be to put in but I think it may be worth all the work. I work at an acura dealership and never though of asking how much the seats would cost.
