Here's my car ... I'm looking for some opinions on future Mods. I plan on swapping + turbo (Looking at LS Vtec + Turbo or a B20 CRV 2.0 Liter Swap, but we'll see on how college goes) If you have any questions, feel free to ask. And yes i know it will be tagged rice in a second, because there is a lot of show stuff, but i do go to shows and i plan on building the complete show-n-go car in the next year or two.

very good work on the front end conversion...very clean, and something ive never seen before!!! props to a good show car!....hook your interior up and u might have a winner, with your engine obviously too!!

I've seen your car around. I must say, it's quality work. I'm not a big show car fan, but I really like this one..especially the few times I've seen it in person

 

props to the guy who did the body work and the paint but overall just not my style.

Look, its great for a show car, molded well and all but please, I bet he hasn't been to one show with it yet! Why would you first do body mods and THEN figure in 2 years you'll make it fast! There are three reasons why Hondas have a bad name...

1. All the neon and body kits that people put on them to try to make them look fast.
2. The fact that people think they can beat anybody with their stock CRX HF
3. People saying that they will do the engine mods later, lets start in on the body and subs and all that good stuff... As long as our car looks fast, its ok!

If you want to defend him, step up to the plate sister because they say this site was first made for hondas that are built for one reason, to go fast...

Edit : Everywhere I go, people are telling me on like, DSM boards how Hondas suck, I tell them, go STRAIGHT to Honda-Tech and tell them that. They always come back with Honda-Tech is the one exception, people here are the true Honda Enthusiast and they care about speed. I DONT want this site to lose that reputation because I know Hondas are great cars and I know they can be made fast.

You understand where I'm coming from? You understand why I will jump all over if I see somebody like this? I love this site and the people on it because they know what they are talking about and they care about other Enthusiasts. NOT just Hondas, they also care about domestics and other imports. Try to find that anywhere else and I'll tell you right now... You wont.

Yeah I know I know... I had to get a little jumpy. I had to, I just have so much respect for the people already here and it makes me feel so damn proud when I know that Honda-Tech is one of the (if not the most) respected Honda site. I just care too much about this place to let it go down the drain.

Sure, people have different tastes and everything but we come here because everybody has one thing on their mind, Speed! We all help eachother out and we don't let others push us around. You know why? We arn't only Honda enthusiasts, but car enthusiasts. Thats what makes us so unique, we respect everybody that is set out for the same thing as we are... The sheer exitement of SCCA, or getting up to go to the 1/4 mile so we can come back and say... My Civic ran 10.6@138 at 19psi! Whats even better is thats not good enough, now the man is pushing 26psi and hoping for 30 soon. Its what makes Honda-Tech, Honda-Tech. The people who know and love cars.

He is exactly right about this board. Honda-tech is one best techinal boards out there with members that actually know something going fast. I would hate to have this board all about bodykits, molding, tv's and all that other stuff. I can always go to websites like HOndaHOokup.com for that! (No offense)

But once in awhile when a car like this is posted up we have to give some respect towards it. You can tell he put a lot of time and effort in his ride so lets not break his heart. He said he is going to engine mods so lets encourage him to do it and not dis him and his ride. Then he could have both speed and looks. Isn't that what we want here? Hondas that are full of performance and also look good while doing it.
