Recaro Owners.. Preferably SRD owners.
Well i dont have any Recaros, but if you're looking into some seats go for the sparco torino. There really comfortable, and cheaper i think. About keeping clean and do they get dirty (recaros) i presume there about the same as the sparcos, but i dont really know.
these seats are very hard to keep clean. Plus everytime it rains you have to throw a cover on them so you don't wet them with the rain, that gets on your pants and jacket. It also cost a pretty penny to get them clean.
i dunno i have black srds and they're really new. red and beige must be a lot harder to keep clean tho. black blends in at least =T. hope that helps.
Hmmmmm this topic will be interesting as i may decide to go recaro instead of sparco, but im sticking with sparco so far.

but they have a weird pattern on em
When I got mine, I picked black but a friend of mine picked red. The Red is like a velvet material and gets dirty very easily but the black uses a different material that is heavier duty and easier to keep clean.
I used to have red Recaro's, they were the SR-Millenium model (only available in Asia-Pacific) and although they weren't suede, they were still a bitch to keep clean. So I sold them and bought a pair of Black w/red stitching JDM ITR Recaro's.. you still need to get them cleaned every now and then, but atleast they still look clean even if they are dirty
Unless you and your passengers are extremely clean, go for black-coloured recaro's..

I don't have the suede SRD's, but I have the standard cloth ones in red. Not hard to keep clean, but I did get some interior cleaner on a portion of the seat and wasn't able to get it out, so it turned into a small spot of light pink
I heard the red SRDs will fade after prolonged use in the sun.

i have red torinos.....just as long as there's no grease or tar or anything on your clothes that'll get on the seats then you have no problem. the material is called jacquard that comes on the torinos. no complaints so far on them except for the fact that it takes FOREVER to adjust them forward and backwards because you have to turn a **** around and around instead of just pulling the usual lever like the recaros

nope i have sparcos.....i thought the recaro's back piece adjusts by pulling a lever similar to the lever on a stock 92-95 civic seat...........whereas on my sparcos, you have to 'microadjust' the back seat every time you want it in a different position
The Recaro SRD seats have a lever on the verticle portion of the seat that you lift up and put that part of the seat forward so you can access the rear part of the car or let someone in.
It also has a micro-adjusting **** on the bottom part of the seat that adjusts how forward/back you sit, in small incraments.
So, to sum it all up - There are 2 levers/***** on the SRDs that allow for moving of the seat (besides the bracket/slider assembly).
