I've got a 97 gsr and I had some basic cheapie dual spring coilovers put in and I can't figure out how to adjust them. They've got two perches and the two wrenches and there seems to be a place for an allen key to go in but I don't know what that does.

 

Ok, at the bottom of the spring there should be two notched locking rings (black rings in picture). The wrenches should fit in the notches and you have to spin them in the opposite direction to unlock them. Then just move them up and down the threads and relock them. Hope this helps.

On some models the allen key is designed to lock the perches in place. You will have to remove these keys and then twist the perches in the opposite direction.

I thoght the allen key was used to fit it snugly to the shock?

 

I've seen some like these also. It's different on alot of adjustable-height-spring-combos.

 

Thats how my weapon-r's work, know they arnt the best, but oh well

 

weapon-r's blow!!! had the first set they produced....car rode like shiet, then i thought the dual coil design would provide a really nice ride.....i was wrong again! Ordered a set of skunks....hopefully that'll do it

 

like the man said "get a lift" this will help lighten the load off ur springs and make it more easier to adjust.
