Default Opinions on my desired Focus SVT plans? (Pics inside)

http://www.focaljet.com/cgi-bin/ulti...;f=37;t=001468

This is a link that shows my desired plans. I dont know if I will get flamed for the blue rims, or the Focus, or a little bit of both. I really dont mind getting flamed, so go ahead if you must, but I would just like to see what you guys think. Like or dislike. I got some opinions on it at Focaljet.com and would just like to see what my fellow Honda brothers think. For the info, my car looks just like that, and the rims are stock SVT, just powdercoating options. Sorry I dont know how to post pics, so I just have the link. Any opinions are welcome!

Yeah I like the black too. There is a guy on Focaljet.com that had his stock SVT rims powdercoated black on his Infra Red and it looked beautiful. However I still think I am leaning to the Sonic Blue and polished lip. Thanks for the reply!

I think it looks good if you like it. You have to drive it so just make sure you really like it before you go through with it. But IMO the color and the rims look pretty cool.

I think the Focus SVT is a great little car. If that model was out when I bought my '99 Si used in 2001 I would have purchased the Ford instead. SVT gets a I also like the color matched wheels.

That's exactly what i think. More hp with more tq, and at a lower rpm. And whenever someone brings up the whole FORD is crap thing there is one thing you gotta think about. A SVT is a step above the rest of the lineup in engineering.

dude, i HATE passing stylistic judgement, but honestly u gave up workign on a CRX for that? i hate the focus, its jsut not my style, too big and ugee, and as for the wheels, blue on blue doenst look very good, too much blue....gunmetal would look nice....dont take my word for it tho, its just my .02

There's alot of ignorance going on here.

Any car is as reliable as the owners.

How do you like the focus? I hear the brakes and suspension are good. The engine makes decent power too, but it seems like they squeezed most everything they can out of it. Not a Ford fan but I like the way the SVT focus looks, especially the stance.

The blue paint and powdercoated blue wheels are cool and innovative. I like it and think you should go with that. Black or gunmetal wheels would look good on your car but everyone has already done that.

How hard is it to seriously upgrade an SVT Focus..such as turbocharging? By that I mean how many different companies offer a forced induction system, is there a lot to choose from?

Someone post HP/TQ specs on a Focus with induction!
I'm interested in this now.

Well someone just finished the first turbo kit that i know of down in NC. If i'm correct it's a t3/t4. Not sure of the exact turbo size. They don't have any numbers on it yet but he's hoping for 300 to the wheels on pump gas. Stock bottom end, stock compression. It's gonna cost about 5800 though, and you have to drive to the guy's shop in NC to get it isntalled. As far as i know he doesn't have any plans of shipping the kits out. Hopefully FMAX will come out with a kit like they did for the ZX3. Another bad thing about the

The only supercharger i can think of that will be out soon should be the JRSC kit. It uses a bigger charger than the one used on the ZX3 kit. Not sure about the numbers but i heard 220+.

The reason not many F/I kits are out for these ZETEC motors is the returnless fuel system. Not sure exactly what it means but you just can't add a fuel pressure regulator and increase the fuel when boost starts to build. Sorry if i couldn't be more help
