Stopped by the dealer to grab some MTF. When I got back to my car (they didn't have any ) a dealer was talking to another salesman about my car. One was asking if that was the factory color and other usual questions. One of them approached me and wanted to buy it. I thought it was funny because 1. It was extremely dirty. 2. Was covered in grease handprints from the tranny install. 3. Had all kinds of crap in the interior. 4. Was rolling on my black CRV steelies. He happened to own a 95 hatch with a B18C5 swapped in and still said he wanted to own an ITR, because it just isn't the same thing. I told him I wasn't selling but I appreciated the offer. Made me kinda feel like I was driving some rare classic car.

 

you should've told him....$22000 and your hatch

The other day I was in a drive through waiting on breakfast when the guy at the window called his buddy over. He said, "Hey man, it's one of those Type Rs." His buddy walks over and said, "Oh...Those things are slow as ****." Right in front of me. I said, "Yup!" and smiled. The guy then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted a real fast car, get a Chevelle.

I went back to my dealership and put my car up for sale. I want a Chevelle now.

i have a fast hatch....and still want an ITR...would trade my hatch for one...

I think the ITR and the first M3 are two of the finest inexpensive factory sports cars on the road today.

 

I was at Goodson Acura in Irving, TX and they offered 22,000 for Cordillia when I went to visit my friend.

 

It's funny how people talk about money that they probably don't have. "Oh, I'd get this and this and this!" "Oh, I'll take that off your hands." Not hating, but actions speak louder than words. on keeping the R.

 

ive already been told buy people that my 97 R is a fake cause it doesnt have teh 98 front or the all red tail lights peopel dont rember teh 97

That's how I feel...

Actually having the 'Type R' rather than a hybrid would make everything feel so much more valuable...


But then I realize how INSANE that car is on insurance, and I become happy knowing I pay half of that on a civic.
