Will the AEM EMS 30-1001 work on 997-01 Ludes? need to know ASAP...
Hi guys,
I need to know if the EMS model # 30-1001 will work on my 01 Lude? I ordered mine a few days ago from Viren and I think that I am getting a 30-1001 model instead of the 30-1020.
While he was taking my order I think he may have mentioned that the 30-1001 will work ok if I have a harness (which he would supply). But I dont remember if I heard him right when he said that.
so does anyone know?

You're going to need an OBDII to OBDI harness... jus call back and try to get the 1020 if you are getting the 1001... hope that helps

The 30-1001 was for a 92-95 MT Prelude. If you ordered the 30-1001 I would try and get the 30-1020 because it will be cheaper for you and easier.
If Viren has a used one that he is giving you a good deal on then you will have to weigh the good price vs the correct EMS. Otherwise if it is brand new just get the 30-1020.
