A: all of you shut up and sit in a corner.. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU IS WRONG!!!
B: whoever said they are undesireable, bring it on.. they reign supreme at SCCA CSP.
C: that yellow car IS NOT A CIVIC. IT NEVER WAS IT NEVER WILL BE. if you think it is, you are wrong. it is a honda Today, NOT A CIVIC. we have had this car in a topic before. i can prove it if you like, but i don't want to right now.
now, the answer is: AT, AJ, AK, AG... for the civic.
for the crx, it is: AE, AF, AS....
in japan, the chassis codes begin with an E- in front of all of them, including EF's and EG's.
so, they read E-EF, or E-ES, or E-EG
the 2nd generation civics are SL, SS, SR, ST
the first generation civics are SB1, SE, SG
thanks for playing "i know my old school"..
here's a tip, get a Hyper Rev.

they may reign in scca but they are still digustingly ugly- and dont they have a solid rear axle?---how is that better than ef's wishbone? correct me if im wrong.

the front suspension is torsien bars, which could be seen as less than desireable, but you are able to corner weight the car with the stock torsien bars, which means you can adjust the height of the front stock. no aftermarket parts needed. aftermarket torsien bars are available to stiffen up the front end. and, when it comes time to adjust camber, camber plates are easily installed and can be adjusted by just popping the hood. no need to jack up the car and mess with the upper a-arms, it's all controlled by where the shock mounts.
but, one major thing of the first gen CRX's and civics is that they are lighter, and smaller, which makes them much easier to move around the cones. and they aren't down on power too much, only about 10 hp or so in stock form, but can be tuned within the SP limits to around 120 whp or more.
What the hell is that? A car? A truck? And it's a honda!
its like half hatchback, half mini-van
