I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean but did you reuse your IM gasket? I know people have run into a lot of problems reusing one when it should of been replaced. Did you set the timing correctly?

When you change things that are going to allow more or less fuel and air in you need to reset your ECU. This very well might not be your only problem but it does cause the RPMs to dip when you press the gas. Pull your hazard fuse for 20 seconds when the car is off, then put your hazard fuse back in, and allow the car to idle for at least 10 minutes so it adjust to the changes you did.

what do you mean IM gasket? To be more spacific when you give it gas the motor starts to rev up and then its like you switched the key off for a second and switched it back on,its like you shut the fuel off then cut it back on.it only happens when you drive it,when it idles it hesitates a little then revs up.

yeah, what exactly did u change over?? are u using the PM6 ecu or you still have the PM5? if so thats your problem. or did u do the mpfi conversion or did u just throw on the manifold?? idk, thats not probable, but just making sure.
To change from dpfi to mpfi, you need the int. manifold, distributor, injector resistor box, and you need to rewire for four injectors.
my $0.02. i hope you get it fixed soon. payce

I think I would ask Josh Burgans. He seems to know everything about EF civics.
