iight, im new to this thing and i was wondering if a jdm itr front end conversion can work on an EK?? anyone got any info on this? any info on mods need and such would be appriciated...thanks in advance

 

never seen one done. ive seen a USDM teg front end on a EK before. i didnt like it. but if you do, then go for it. it will cost a little bit of $$$ though.

 

JDM rice? It's going to look not so good...

jdm itr on EG looks really nice...never seen it on an ek tho

 

on the EG it doesnt look so bad but on the ek it wouldnt match up cause of the body lines.... The Domani front end conversion looks okay in my opinion but they are kinda hard to find unless you live in canada or you want to spend a grip of money. but why ruin such a beautiful car, whats wrong with the ek front end... unless its a 96-98 those are disgusting... j/p if you have a 96-98 then i would do a 99-00 conversion that would look clean... i voiced my opinon good luck with your ride

 

if you got $$$$ then anything is possible in this country.....

cut the stock EK fenders in half,..also cut the JDM teg fenders in half,..weld the back half of the EK fenders to the front halfs of the teg fenders,..then you have to weld a JDM teg radiator support to your EK,..then all you need is headlights front bumper and hood,...i just got done explaining this on another board

 

as apposed to american rice? or european rice?

 

Not to sound mean, but i am more of a performance guy and I would rather see a good 2g's or whatever it costs to drop in another engine, rather then putting that type R front on your EK...

I like the fixed up but subtle look....stock but fixed up....catch my drift...

Also, if you do the ITR front, make sure that you paint everything...do not leave anything primer...do everything right the first time...dont take shortcuts

Yep, this guy is right on the money. It actually looks pretty clean just as long as you can match the lines. I'll take pics as soon as i can....unfortunately we're buried under the snow here today...

 

are you that dense? you seriously didn't get my comment? ok, let me explain step by step so EVERYBODY can understand. everybody wants to be "jDm y0", so they want jdm parts on their car so they can be cool like everybody else. now, putting a jdm itr front on a civic would be considered rice, right? same way putting an el camino front on a civic would be considered rice. now, the jdm itr front is jdm, but it'd also be rice, because its going on a civic. for the final step all you need to do is add the 2 big words of the day together, like this: jdm + rice= jdm rice. do you understand now? or do we need to go to part 2 of the lesson.
