Adjusting clutch
A friend of mine commented that the freeplay was too much on my Integra and that I should remove all of it. Since the car was new to me and I did not know much about why you need the freeplay in the first place, I adjusted it without much thought. The next day I drove it through 45 min of stop and go traffic. I noticed that shifting was really tough and it was hard to get in/out of gear when the car was at a stop. I had concluded that the clutch assembly had expanded to the point that the clutch has dragging on the pressure plate/flywheel with the clutch fully disengaged. I had to stop at a gas station and borrow a tool to back it off. Otherwise, I would of never gotten home. I would stick to the recommended freeplay with my experience as a lesson.
I was trying to adjust my pedal before too, but I couldn't get locknut C to budge (Helms Page 12-4. Nut on pushrod) Which way do you turn it?
Or a better question, how do you get it to turn?
I can't get my head far enough in there to take a look how its on there.

One thing is to adjust clutch for free pedal play, but can it be adjusted to have it engage sooner? - would that cause damage to pressure plate or bearing or whatever else?
