Default I think my O2 sensor is finally dead? What should I do...

I got a #1 check engine light again for the first time in about 2 months. I figure the O2 sensor is on it's way out since I get shitty mileage, like 280miles/tank on a mostly stock DX engine. I've heard new Bosch sensors are like $100 but break soon? And OEM is like $250 but I'm not really wanting to spend that much on it. What can I do?

Use a Bosch or search for info on cheap OEM O2 sensors. I know there have been a lot of O2 sensor posts.

$100 for a bosch?? I paid $17.99 for my O2 sensor from autozone and that includes a lifetime warranty I think?? I dont know for a fact but I will later today when I go and replace it since that might be my idle problem.....

go to autozone, $20 bucks, oh and that may not solve your problem. its possible that your FI system is messed up and youre running too rich which will cause code 1, shitty gas mileage, and eventually burn out the O2 sensor.
