Default problem with car not idling properly after rebuild

well i started driving the car again, and whenever i go to stop, and push in the clutch, the RPMs will go way down, and then the car will almost shut off, ok, well i adjusted the idle screw out a little, it idles better.... but the RPMs do still go down to like 500 or below, and the lights dim at night, and then, sometimes the e-brake warning light will come on but goes off whenever i start moving again

did u turn the hex bolt that is under the throttle rotor or did u mess with the rpm screw (flathead) that is by the map tps sensor? if u adjust the hex under the rotor it will up the idle more.. make sure u take the slack outta the throttle cable.. sounds like u have cams, mine used to do the same..

the flathead RPM screw at the top of the TB is the only one i messed with, but everything else is fine.... Flamenco-T seems to think it might be something to do with a vacuum line.

Throwing any codes? Check all your vacuum lines and also your tps sensor.

no codes, just a funky idle sometimes..... it only happens when i am at about 2000 rpms and up and push the clutch in, or put it in neutral... the RPMs just drop al the way down, but then go right back to where they should be at idle
