Quick Story:

So I'm at one of the local audio shops searching for a 12 a box and an amp to replace my blown system from a few months ago. Well after talking to the owner for a good hour (just shooting the ****). I let him know what I'm looking for. Long story short, he hooks me up with an Alpine Type-R 12, a Box and a Zapco AG200 amp all for 450 Can. even, no tax!!

I was a little weary about the Zapco amp, because I've never heard of them and they just sound cheap.... but let me tell you, This thing ****** pounds!!!! It's rated at like 200 RMS, but it MUST be underated. It's an awesome amp. I read a few reviews on it and everyone who reviewed these amps say the same thing I just did.

Anyway, I'm just really happy and hyper right now, so I figured I'd share with you guys. Has anyone here heard of or used these amps before??

 

They are the best amplifiers made IMO. I have been using them for 13 years and never have problems and kick *** on the competitoin circuit. You made a great purchase.

 

zapco makes great stuff. that is a pretty good deal too

 

KNow what's kind of funny.......My friend has a VX with a DX swap, and the guage cluster, wheels ect.......Just like your tag.

 

Cool, Did he swap the engine himself or was it already there when he got the car?

When I bought my car I had no idea it was a different engine until like 2 months later when I couldn't understand why I was continually smoking my friends CX and a few other cars that I shouldn't have been.

Don't get me wrong, the DX engine isn't anything to brag about, but it sure is better the 75 horses I should have. hehe
