How thick is it? It's tubular, but doesn't really look equal length. Could be the angle though.

Its a meng turbo manifold. Its the same company that makes the VS racing, TRRacing, OBX, Nuimage, and jotech. For the most part they are good manifolds but they do have thin metal.

I saw tony1 weld one up because it cracked after 2 weeks. But again they work really good for the money. I would get one.

i was about to get one of them it is on http://www.thepartstrader.com but if you look at the one on the parts trader the breeder valve looks like that it hits the inlet on the compressor and it sticks in alittle bit into the inlet of the compressor

between the two, if you are a welder get this one. if you have a die grinder and want to do some serious porting, get the inline pro.

this manifold will crack, there is no way around it. If your car isnt driven much this may be the ticket for you. Otherwise you shouldnt use a tubular in this price range.

What kinda of welding? I can mig pretty well, and have access to one.

I do have one...will this greatly improve the performance of the Inlinepro?

Geoff...I don't suppose you could make a DP for the Inlinepro if I sent you the manifold(if I get the that one) do you? How much would that be?

oh, and where will it crack if/when it does crack?

sorry to rain on the parade, i dont mean for this to be a way to sell manifolds. For 90% of applications a equal length isnt really all that necessary. While it does make a difference, most people cant afford it. The old addage you get what you pay for would definatley apply.

its definatley worth it to spend a few hours porting the inline pro out. Nice gains can be had streamlining flow and making the collector work out. You can even add material by welding inside the "collector" then grinding the weld into shape. Just make sure you use stainless filler.

MIG welding on the meng header is a dangerous idea i do not recommened it. If it cracks it must be tig welded.

MIG welding the insdie of the inline pro manif with 308 wire would be ok if you were trying to form yoruself a collector to make the manifold work right. Fill it up with mig then grind it into shape. Dont get carried away and then blame me if you added wayyyyyyy too much rod tho small amounts at a time.

I could make a dp but i will not make AC compatible DPs. If you want me to make something emial me the details! geoff@full-race.com
