Default brake light question

anytime i accelerate from a stop, or accelerate hard my parking/e-brake light comes on for a bit.
i thought it was low brake fluid, but i checked it and that's not the source. anybody else have any idea what it might be?

Maybe loose p. brake cables? Have you tried adjusting them?

My light did the same. I read some other posts and I thought it might have been the sensor on the master cylinder, but when I took it to the dealer and told them, they came back to me and said that my front pads were almost dead at 1% remaining. With worn pads, the brakes had to "work harder" (for lack of a better term) and more fluid was required. I had thought that our pads would start squealing if they needed to be replaced, but apparently I was wrong.

Cliff notes: It may be that you need to replace either your front or your rear pads.
