I can't believe it but i have to face up to the fact that i have to sell my R..It was broken into again with minor damage the other night..For those that don't know, a little history;....I had a 98 R a few years back..It was stolen and i never saw it again..I then found my 97 with only 12,400 miles on it that was only driven daily by a 50 year old woman to and from her dental asst. job 2 minutes away from her home..This car has been attempted to be stolen 3 times already, and broken into a few more..It has also been keyed twice on the drivers-side door, which was fixed and is not noticeable..The thieves burned a hole in my drivers seat when they couldn't get it also...I love this car..Every time it is F'ed with it hurts, and i can't stand to see it anymore..Also, besides my stealth security of which they have yet to get around, eventually they will get it..

This car has 31,000 miles on it..It is 97 #0059..I had just begun to modify it..It has Spoon lowering springs, a Spoon 4-2-1 header, a Carsound cat, Toda lightweight flywheel, Exedy clutch, JRSC at 5.5 psi, BTC, fuel pump, and brand-new(less than 100 miles) Pole Position s-03s..I know some of you don't like the JRSC but i was liking it..It is still untuned though and i just bought a VAFC to do it..It also still has stock exhaust..I was just in the process of buying an exhaust for it..Mike at IPS can back me up on that..

I have never been to the track with this car and my street-racing days have long been over(i'm 32) so don't think it was beat on..I also have a brand-new Fiber Images CF hood for it also..I just thought i'd see if anyone here was interested before i advertise..It' always nice when people already know what the car is so i don't have to explain things like why the 97GSR they just looked at was $8k cheaper than my 97 Integra..I figure i'd ask $18,000 for it or so.I think i'm gonna get an S-2000...If anyones interested let me know...

Is an S2000 going to eliminate your vandalism problems? Garage the R and keep it if possible.

OT: Where was your R originally purchased? My #57 and I know #58 were sent to and purchased from Naples Acura (FL).

 

An S2000 is much less likely to be messed with IMO..My R was originally bought in New Jersey...

 

#51 was purchased in Chapel Hill. Originally belonged to the store in Fayetteville, but a trade was arranged.
