Is your exhaust tapered where it connects to the cat? I have a 2000 SH and I recently purchased a Tanabe SRM and it does taper down from 2.36"(60mm) to around 1.9" at the cat. I'm thinking about swapping it for the N1, but if I keep it I will have to modify it to fit my SH anyway and that's the section I would cut off, I'm just having trouble finding a 60mm 3 bolt flange.

my N1 bolted right up w/o any mods.. 97 base. I don't believe it's tappered

 

Thanks... I know they will bolt up w/ no modifying, I JUST WANT TO BE SURE that it's not tapered. I don't want to buy one and then find out I'm in the same situation.

 

no the N1 is not tapered...it is the same diamater all the way back..

I have no experience w/the tanabe, but I am extremely happy w/the N1..

 

Anyone else have any info on this? I need to be sure before I buy.
