As the topic reads. Also anyone know what design most JDM FMIC's are? Tube and Fin or Bar and Plate? Thanks

greddy and most intercoolers are tube and fin...some just have variations off that.

Most USDM intercoolers like Spearco are bar and plate. But I think most JDM companies are still using tube and fin I/C's. Bar and plate is heavier and stronger and flows better than tube and fin. But it doesn't cool the air as well as a tube and fin design.

It has nothing to do with "JDM" or USDM. Mostly all cores are from over seas anyway.

The Apexi GT FMIC is a bar and plate design, but it uses the "delta fin" system which is basically the same thing. I read an Issue of Option2 magazine and the tested the APEXi, Blitz and HKS intercoolers and the HKS and Blitz both beat the APEXi unit by about 10HP. Both HKS and Blitz are using a traditional tube and fin. But I've seen HKS FMICs come in both Bar and Plate and Tube and Fin.
