Default Show me your kicks

I have been absorbing kick information for a few hours. I don't mind relocating the ecu too much, If I can find a way to do it without cutting the factory wiring. But I don't know if I can live without my foot rest next to my clutch

How do you guys cope with this? Any pics would be appreciated also.

ok if your talkign about moving the ecu and puttin the speaker down there, from what i have read is that kicks work when the speaker is pointed towards the drivers face, not his feet, i know you can always build a custom box that faces them towards you, or you can buy the prefab qlogic ones for about 150. i dont know if i read your question right or not, but theres some help for you

Check out Qlogic.com. I know their stuff isn't top quality, but I've been thinking about taking the easy way out. I'll just add some sound deadening/fiberglass to seal them. They go for around $50 on ebay.

I have no problem with Qlogic, but I want the best sound possible if I go through the trouble. The pics on qlogic's site only show the passenger side on a civic

My google search did not yield any pics either.

I need visual stimulation

No pics. I will send them an email when I get home to get some pics if possible. Have you seen a teg install with them? Are the rears closed or open like the qlogic's?

I can't wait to get started on kicks again, but I just don't have time. Theres a half-assed shop around here that quoted me at $900 . I guess i'll have to make time. I have pics from my first attempt, if i can get them scanned I'll send you the link.

I got the reply to his email back. The USD kicks are 125 and have an open back. USD refered me to the tutorial on their site. Installing them seem to be only slightly easier that making my own. They need to be connected to the oem kickpanel.

How can I make qforms seal better? Rubber surround and screws? My interior is black so I may be able to get away with that.

I never sealed mine...I did however fiberglass the plastic parts to stop the rattling. I thought the sound was decent but I never did try to seal the back of the pod.
