I use to have a type r muffler on my car but have chose to go to a bigger 2.5 inch, I was wonering what 2.5inch mufflers out there are quiet but high flow and performance, so far I am looking at the magnaflows anyone have any suggestions?

i think you should go a lil smaller , like a 2.25 piping ? but then again im a noob what the hell do i know right ?

 

I've got 2.25" piping with a 2.25" ES Oval

 

What engine set up do you have, you might not need that much flow.

anyways - 2.25" should work good for you...But then again I dont know all that much about exhausts

 

If he wants to go 2.5", what's the problem? Maybe he's turbocharged or something.

I have a T1R 2.5" axle-back muffler, and it's very nice.

 

my engine setup is an h22 with 100 shot of nitrous, and I no I am going to need bigger then a 2.25, I have learned from experience with forced induction bigger is better

 

Then just get a magnaflow, they are high qual and have good flow. I plan on upgrading to 2.5 in a few months.

 

Borla mufflers and Dynomax Ultra-Flo mufflers are also very good. both straight-through and stainless steel.

 

is this a 2 1/2 in muffler to stock piping?..or 2 1/2 all the way to the cat?
