max bore on stock sleeves, b18A
The most and safest bore size that i would go with would be 84mm
You really shouldn't bore your block w/out sleeving.
ok heres the sit. i have a xtra b18a laying around. one cylinder from what i can remember was ~ 20 psi lower then the rest on compression check.
i might be getting a 90 hatch for almost nothing, and i will probly be dropping it in there. i dont want to drop it in the way it is, just to pull it out again.
my future goals are unknown since i am finishing up my turbo lude build that i have over 12k in, whichs brings my current debt close to 20 k. i just have this thing for cars, i cant stop. i will prob use n2o cause it is cheap and i can build my own kits. when (not if) i blow it up, i will then rebuild it again, but that is where the next thing comes in.
there is someone selling 83 mm je's for REAL cheap, and i was thinking about using them, but i cant resleeve, i just dont have the money...this was supposed to be a no-money, just parts laying around project, and its already starting w/the forged this, and the balanced that.
other solution i guess would be to get some oem honda pistons that are bigger then the 81 bore, but not to big for stock sleeves. anything from stock compression up(9.x?), cause even turbo i beleave in higher cpompression then most. which pistons can i choose from?
thanks again guys
