Oh crap! Lost 1st and 4th...and reverse...
I don't know what happened, but I can't even get it into 1st....or reverse.
The clutch pedal feels VERY light now...like it's unattached. Also, I've developed a random rattling noise that's coming from the firewall...but it goes away when I depress the clutch pedal. I'm thinking the two are related....
..but since it's raining cat and dogs outside, I can't work on it til it clears up.
Anyone want to take a guess as to what happened? Or have something similiar happen to them? TIA!

sounds like either ur clutch master or slave cylinder... get it checked out... u might just be low on clutch fluid also... same thing happened to me and just adding clutch fluid fixed it..check the resevoir in the engine bay and if its dry fill'er up!

Seems like a VERY common problem.
My car has a VERY stiff clutch pedal. A few times my car got stuck in the gear. I was told that my master cyl is leaking.
Hope you don't have a major problem with your car.
mine is prolly leaking also... but for now the fluid is doing wonders.. i'll just have to wait to fix it..

Is your clutch pedal firm or light??

Sounds like your clutch is shot....
it's the clutch disc, the spring(s) probably fell out and doesn't let you release. Just worked on one with the same problems.sds
Well, it's a new clutch (installed it umm, 5k miles ago?)
But I'll check the MC first.
It better not be the clutch...or else Exospeed is going to hear something from me!

Found the problem. Now I need a solution.
*Sorry for forum jumping, but I felt it better suited to be asked in the Tech forum*
