Default Tourqe Converters

Who makes a good Tourqe Converter? I know Level 10 makes one. Are they any
good? Any suggestions would help. I have a 1999 Civic EX.

im gonna have to agree. Unless you need or totally want an auto dont waste money on it and save for a manual swap.

But if you wanna keep the auto, level 10 is the place to go for all your auto needs. They do good stuff.

scc car did a feature on a 96 civic coupe that was boosted with a drag turbo kit and used a level 10 converter. 06/99 page 135

I haven't decided what I want to do yet. Stick with the auto and build it with a turbo. Or do a manual swap with a turbo. I know the latter would be more expensive. What manual tranny would I need to look for. I think I will go with a cable clutch instead of a hydraulic one. How much money am I looking at and, is it really worth it. Can a built auto with turbo compete with a manual turbo?
