finally i got around to install my CF lip. i had this sitting in my room for a few months now.... hehe. anyway this is probably the first to be done. if u guys need info how to, just let me know. modification to the bumper was required a lil....but IMO its worth it. this is not for the weak of heart though, if u are scared of scratching up the lip and would wanna drive with it, dont bother with this. i purposely went down my driveway to "break it in" and ease the stress of that first dip. anyway shes on and looking good. my car is low as **** though, just the way i like it. drop is with eibach sportlines. the lip doesnt sit flush like the civic eg lip, cuz its not as flexible. actually its not flexible at all...the carbon fiber is strong and thick. this would probably look good with a fiberglass one too, probably fits better since it can be cut and painted.

Does the bumper pretty much form to the lip, cause I have the same lip on my hatch, and I know it's pretty stiff

Is that real Spoon or a replica? Either way, it looks tight as ****, I give you props for the custom fitment job.
Careful drivin around with that bad boy tho, ESPECIALLY if it is a true Spoon piece.... but even if it isn't, I figure you still spent $250+ on it, so be careful!

the lip is a spoon replica. good quality. as for fitting it to the bumper it was kinda hard at first. but with a few clamps and screws it fit. i had to cut the bumper a lil on both side but its all good. the lip was specifically for the civic EG. thanks for the compliments!

The only carbon fiber anything i will ever have(if any) may be a duckbill wing for my hatch.. i absolutely despise carbon fiber hoods and lips.. they look soo gay imho.. but to each his own i guess..

actually i didnt really like the thought of a CF lip, and getting it all messed up. but then i thought to myself, i could get a fiberglass one that will be weaker and if it ever gets hit by something, it will probably break and crack. CF has its plus though, if i ever scratch this up badly i can always paint it. since it is CF its strong and not as like to shatter if i hit a rock or something. but anyway, drink up!

these things are supposed to be used on the track. If you're too scared of scratching it up, then you shouldn't even have one on at all.
Car looks good, but get it away from that white wall, or close the camera shutter or something, the pics are much too bright.
