Default Exposed Cam Gears- How to?

Just wanted to know how to proporly expose the cam gears. I love how the engine looks when you can see the cam gears. I know that you can remove the plastic cover on the side where the timeing belt is, but what about the part that is attached to the valve cover?

On a b16 do you have to cut the valve cover? Any pics would be great.

Useless unless you need to fiddle with the cam gears...

i was beaten to it, but send ur **** to http://www.pmpdesigns.com/On-line_St...lve_cover.html or buy it from them. their work is PERFECT. I would recommend getting the valve cover and the plastic piece. If you do it yourself, it wont look perfect. And dont flame this sayin you did a perfect job yourself if you dont have a laser cutter in the garage. Cause you didnt.

Nice cuts but unless you value nice work I think most people will elect to chop off the end of the valve cover.

I am currently debating whether or not to send my R valvecover or just a plain black GSR cover in....vat to do, vat to do. Looks clean and will highlight my JDM bLiNg yO (and one less thing to do at the dyno)

If memery serves me right, I used a 3 3/4" hole saw purchased from home depot. I think the 4" was bit too large. Worked great! Wedge a wood piece of 2x4 in the area behind where you're going to cut, tape it all to hell with the plastic part in there as well, insert cover into a vise(don't overtighten), and go to town. Go slowly!!! Just figure out where the center of the cam gears are before cutting(it's right at the bottom of the cover- you'll have to make a half round notch at the center points).
here's really bad pic to illustrate the end result...
