does hatch's and sol's share the same exhaust (size, and fitment)?

just wandering because my freind is willing to sell me a tanabe hyper medalion for a cheap price, due to him recently wrecking his car (which is a del sol). I have a EG/EH hatch and am currently looking for one.

Was the exhaust specifically for a Del Sol? Or did he purchase the 92-95 Civic catback and make that work? I know that when I tried to fit a stock Del Sol VTEC catback on my 93 EH the hangers off and whole exhaust a little too far back and to one side. Maybe someone else had different experiences but I've heard this from a few people.

exhausts for eg's eh2's will NOT fit the sol you will have to modify it. If memory serves me correctly the hatch is 8 inches longer than the sol. take it all to a muffler shop and they can get it right.
