Default Next mod for 01 CIVIC?

I just wanted to know what my next mod should be to my 2001 honda civic ex.
i already got the AEM coldair intake, HPracing hedder, HAYAME exhaust. Should I
go with some pulleys, a high-flow cat or what.

Yeah??? If so the intake and headers are useless. pulleys not really necessary right now in this stage. Save your money is my suggestion. Turbos are not cheap and you will be buying a lot of things. maybe start buying some guages, spark plugs, fuel pump, boost controller, fuel injectors, etc...

:edit: start gathering parts, i know it is kinda hard buying parts and not being able to install them, but that is just part of the FI world.

If you're gonna be going turbo in the future you should stop buying bolt-ons for your car that you wont be able to use with a turbo. When you go turbo you'll have to sell your CAI and header. And if you plan on getting a 3" exhaust to compliment the turbo you'll have to get rid of your Hayame and cat. The money you spend on the pullies could be better spent on something for your turbo setup.

true dat. stop buying stuff and save, i just bought my turbo kit and now i have to start buying other stuff to make it work:
turbo kit: 3000
boost controller: 350
injectors: 300
turbo timer: 100
guages: 100
pistons and rods: 850
s-afc: 300
3" turbo cat back exhaust: 550

Yup, this right here is what you should do. start making a "shopping list", starting with the most important stuff which for me is the turbo, manifold, Intercooler, IC piping. Then you can get all the supporting accesories, and once you decided on what type of fuel management you want you can buy a standalone or go with one of the other alternatives (which I advise against)

If he gets a high flow cat now it will be useless later on...unless he goes with a 2.5" or 3" cat which he can still use when he goes turbo, but the flange sizes from the stock exhaust to the large diameter cat wont match up. (does that make sense?)

Just tell him to save up the $150-200 by not getting a cat now, and save that money for the turbo. Having a lot of patience helps when you are trying to piece together a turbo project. Just tell your friend to be patient and save up all his money.
