Default Pilot short shifter, anyone know anything about it?

I found a Pilot short shifter from www.aftermarketperformanceparts.com, anyone know if its any good? Its only $43, that's pretty cheap. I've been told not to get a B&M, I just wondered if anyone knew if this one is a good one or not. Thx, lata.

I have a Pilot short shift in my Civic. They don't suck but they are made of hollow aluminum instead of soild like the name brand shifters. I broke a hollow one in my integra by twisting the **** too hard. In fact most short shifters are made hollow unless it's the B&M. I would like to have a good name brand one but I got mine for $25 so I can buy 4 for the price of a B&M if need be.

I was told that the B&M sits too far forward cuz the bar is straight, no bends. But I could be wrong, I'm just going by what someone on here told me.

Skunk2, Neuspeed or C's are your best choices. Sure they cost a bit more but you get what you pay for.
