Teg won't start!
Ok, just finished my rebuild of my 92 LS last night and charged the dead battery this morning. But now when I turn the key, it cranks over, but won't run. When it cranks, it appears not all the cylinders are firing... It cranks, then coughs a little, goes back to cranking. I don't know. Fuel is good, albeit a month or two old, spark is going to all cylinders, double checked wires on distributor cap... I'm not too sure what to try next. Any idears?

Inside the distributor, are the contacts on the Cap and Rotor still in good shape?
did you align the distributor cap rotor right? i remember the same thing happenning with my friends ls when we changed his cap and rotor. it has to be aligned with the top dead center and the rotor on the number 1 spark plug place. summin like that. i know it doesnt matter on a gs-r but on ls it does.
It runs now! Sorta... It turned out to be cam timing; intake cam must have slipped a tooth or two. But, it runs now! Shweeet.. However, during the 20 minute break-in for my new cams, my coolant gauge read nothing, and my radiator fans never kicked on. It's out cooling off right now, but I assume my coolant temp sensor either isn't reading or I missed a connection
. I won't get to screw with it until tonight though, work calls
. Thanks though!
