turbo timer unlocks my doors
I just installed a turbo timer in my 95 gsx. Before I installed it when I turn my car off the doors would unlock to let the passenger out. So, naturaly it does the same when the timer runs out.
I was just wondering if anyone knows how to disable this "feature" so every time I turn my car off I dont have to wait for 2 mins just to lock my doors?

That happened to me also. I had to disabled the auto lock feature on my alarm, so it no longer locks automatically upon start up, but it no longer unlocks on shut off.
If someone has a better way id like to know what it is.

why not just set with the car while the engine is running, in other words dont use a turbo timer. roll up the windows, get out look for dings, scrape the rubber out of the fender wells. and then shut off the car.

because that is the point of the freaking turbo timer...to get out and leave w/o having to do that...if he had the time to do that stuff everytime he left the car, he never would of bought the turbo timer.
It may be the car itself doing the unlocking, not an alarm system. My Civic, whenever I turn off the engine, the doors unlocked automatically, and that was before I had an alarm. Try asking your dealer to either reprogram the control unit for the door locks (not sure if that applies to your car, but it did for my Civic and Jeep), or have them cut the activation wire, then the doors will only lock and unlock when you push the button/switch/remote/etc, not when the engine is turned off.
