pretty clean... I have a sparco wheel with the external buttons, i removed the button and mounted the light in there... I got the pivot digital tach and mounted that in the column

The install was as difficult as pluging the adapter inside of the cigarette outlet.

Sorry if i'm missing something...but exactly how does it work without any wiring except for the power? yeah, you set when you want it to go off..but how does it know what rpm the car is at?? thanx

I think that's how it works, that's how my friend was explaining it when I bought it. I don't know, I just set it for 8,400, and shift when it lights up
