I have the Canon G2 but I don't like it that much. Maybe because I just don't know how to use it.

Nikon coolpix 995!

 

I have the Minolta Dimage F100. Very user friendly, takes sweet pics. Its 4.0 megapixels, 3x's optical zoom and 2.5x seamless digital zoom. I dig it!

 

um.. im gettin a digy cam soon, i dont wanna spend alittle over 250 bucks tho..
my friend tried to find me a stolen one, but i havnt heard from him.

i want a 3megapiexel and above camera, till then i think ill be using this Olympus camera

 

I would get a digicam....but then I wouldn't have any money for my HID's!!

1.3 Mpixel/zoom...it records live video...no sound tho...it works i guess

I'm using that one too, pictures look good only when taken at 1.3 and then resized. But the macro quality is amazing! detailed!

 

I got the DSC-P50 - same features as yours, but its 2.1 megapixels - its.. umm... *okay* but i'd rather something with more megapixels - nightshots are of average quality.. but not as good as some cameras that i've seen other people use on H-T.

You don't have much room for adjusting shutter speed with the P50 - sometimes you set it to open as long as possible, and its still not enough to light up your image

 

 

my gfriend just got me the Canon PowershotA40 with a 128 Mb card!! IT is awsome for the price range. I have video and sound capabilities and 2.0 Mega Pixels.

you have a g2 and you dont like it? YES your are correct. its because you simply dont know how to use it

i suggest you spend some time on dpreview.com and photosig.com and learn some techniques along with using your manual. you have an awesome camera, the only thing it is limited by is your brain. take advantage of that tool you have that **** is sweet.

mtk kommander has a nice g2. look at his pics.

i suggest u just stick to auto for now until u read up. maybe thats why you arent happy.

btw: i own a canon a40 digital. a much lesser camera then the g2 but still great for the money. one of the nicest 2.0 mp cams out in my opinion





and im still learning presets and basics.

 

im using a Kodak Easyshare Cx4300 ....3.2 ..still testing it out..
