i've done the search and have found nothing on the legality of having shaved door handles. i realize that laws are different in different states, but if anyone knows if it is legal or not in maryland then please reply. thanks

 

why on earth would you want to lock yourself in the car in the event that your battery is dead and EMT couldnt open the doors ?

i know that it is legal in idaho, but you have to have manual poppers on the door also, so if the battery is dead the door can still be opened from the outside

 

I know that it is not illegal in California...And from what I have heard, Cali has the tightest laws about that crap...

 

they are legal in california..
and all the other people thinking if the battery dies=just crawl thru the trunk, if your fat, then u'll have a problem
and if your in a accident..they better break the window to get you out.
if you had handles, you locked the doors and u was unconcious inside..wouldn't you think they break the window? same **** as having no door handles

and i think they're legal in most states. but i know most racing sanctions wouldn't approve the car to race if the handles were shaved.
