would I gain from swapping my dc 4-1 to comptech 4-2-1? The motors a b16a2 but im building poor mans R and the comptech is for a 1.8 so will this header preform well? I can pick this header up for 2 bills it was used for 5 months and is in great condition. I tried a search and didnt find what I was looking for. I believe both headers are usdm but he says its of of a type R, im not sure about the collector size. thanks for the help!

 

You'll get a lil more torque and mid power... not sure if you wanna spend more money on that though.

 

2.25" collector on the comptech, not sure about the DC. The Comptech 4-2-1 is a nice header

worth it? that's up to you.

 

I would stick with the DC, Being gains wont be much if any with comptech swap!

Best bet is to save for a 2.5" collecter header!

thanks, I could also pick up dc jdm 4-1 for 260 the header is new and ceramic coated but will this work on my b16 for now so I could sell the 4-1 I have now? I was thinking of getting a 4-2-1 because of the torque and daily driving requires sometimes having to rev to 4 to 5k to get the car moving at the track lauching for 5500 rpm just seems like im reving the motor to high. Well thanks for the help, iguess its a toss up between the jdm 4-1 or comptech 4-2-1 which would you recomend for my set up to get the most power with every day drivability?
