flywheel weights?? HF DX Si??
I was curious because someone told me that the si flywheel was lighter than the dx or the hf. Just curious. Also how could i get it lightened without screwing anything up or is that possible? or is there a lighter d series flywheel i could put in there? If i put say a d16y8 flywheel in, would i then need the clutch kit for a d16y8 or would i just need the stock crx clutch kit?
Thanks,
Matt

90-00 SOHC D series flywheels are ineterchangeable but different weights the y8 flywheel is the heaviest then the CRXs BUT yeh you can use a z6/y7/y8/a6/b2 flywheel as long as its 90++ 88 and 89 are different ones..
MY setup:
00' y8 flywheel
90 crx si pressure plate
89 accord clutch disk(21 spline)
because i have 88si tranny since its 21 spline.. 90-00 is 20 or 22 spline so I have to use to use this seup if i want the 212mm setup. stock 88 setup is 200mm.
The reason i got into this info is because i'm using the y8 flywheel. I suggest finding a 90-91 CRX dx/si flywheel, the lightest.

whats the difference between the accord and crx clutch disc?
thanks for clarifying
also I'm going back to stock 88si setup and get a new 88si flywheel and get it lightened then I'm buying a performance 88si clutch kit.
because i have to buy 2 kits I cant just buy seperate plate and disk around here. i need to get full kit.. so it would be easier to go back to stock setup when i need to change clutch.

stock 88 setup is 200mm.
I think this is wrong. I believe it goes like this:
88: 190mm
89: 200mm
90-91:210mm
